SAMSUNG PLASMA TV 43”: The sound of the relay is "TIK-TOK", press the remote control, the TV does not turn on and there is no screen image

Symptom:  The sound of the relay is "TIK-TOK", press the remote control, the TV does not turn on and there is no screen image.

Troubleshooting Methods:

1. Check the Power Supply Board. Power measurement VS = 207 V Normal VA = 5V
2. Check the Main Board and Control Board.
3. heck these components with Ohm Meter to see which are shorted+ or not.

• X- Board
• Y- SUS Board
• Y-DRIVE Board

Summary from Investigation:

1. Power Supply Board is working properly
2. X- Board is working properly
3. Main Board is working properly
4. Control Board is working properly
5. Y-DRIVE Board is working properly

* Y- SUS Board is crashed:
 

1. IGBT Q5000 is shorted
2. C5064 is shorted
3. D5014 is shorted
4. D5032 is shorted
5. C5092is crashed(No ohm)

Resolution:

Replaced all above devices.

Result:

Able to turn on-off TV by using remote control or power button
